3.Z Visa (Work Visa)

• For: Foreign nationals going to China for work, along with their dependents.

• Validity: Usually valid for 3 months; must apply for a residence permit within 30 days after entering China. The residence permit duration is based on the employment contract.

• Required Documents: Passport, visa application form, photo, work permit, or employment contract.

4.Q Visa (Family Reunion Visa)

• Q1 Visa (Long-Term Family Reunion): For those reuniting with immediate family members who are Chinese citizens or permanent residents of China, staying for more than 180 days.

• Q2 Visa (Short-Term Family Visit): For short-term family visits, staying up to 180 days.

• Validity: Q1 requires applying for a residence permit within 30 days of entering China. Q2 is typically valid for 3 months with a stay period of 30 to 90 days.

• Required Documents: Passport, visa application form, photo, invitation letter, proof of family relationship, etc.

5.S Visa (Private Affairs Visa)

• S1 Visa (Long-Term Private Affairs): For individuals accompanying family members working in China or handling other private matters for more than 180 days.

• S2 Visa (Short-Term Private Affairs): For short-term stays for personal matters, up to 180 days.

• Validity: S1 requires applying for a residence permit upon entry. S2 is usually valid for 3 months with a stay period of 30 to 90 days.

6.D Visa (Permanent Residence Visa)

• For: Foreign nationals who have been granted permanent residency in China.

• Validity: Holders of this visa are allowed to reside in China indefinitely.

• Required Documents: Passport, visa application form, photo, and a permanent residence certificate issued by Chinese public security authorities.
